Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Manners on Point School of Etiquette, we are committed to providing exceptional learning experiences while maintaining fair and transparent policies for all participants. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms governing cancellations, transfers, substitutions and refunds for our programmes and services.

By registering for any programme or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all services offered by Manners on Point School of Etiquette, including:

* Public workshops and masterclasses
* Children’s, tween and teen programmes
* Private coaching and consultations
* Corporate training programmes
* School-based programmes
* Camps, retreats and special events
* Virtual and in-person programmes

Where a programme has specific refund terms, those terms will take precedence and will be communicated before registration.

2. Confirming Your Booking

Your place is confirmed only after:

* submission of the required registration information; and
* payment of the applicable deposit or programme fee, where required.

Spaces are reserved on a first-confirmed basis.

3. Participant Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a programme, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on the programme, the following may apply:

* Registration or administrative fees may be non-refundable.
* Deposits paid to secure a place may be non-refundable.
* Refunds, where approved, may be subject to reasonable administrative charges.
* Requests for refunds should be submitted in writing.

Failure to attend a programme without prior notice will generally be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

4. Transfers to Another Programme

Where circumstances permit, Manners on Point School of Etiquette may allow a participant to transfer to another programme or a future session.

Transfers:

* are subject to availability;
* must be requested before the programme begins; and
* are approved at the sole discretion of Manners on Point School of Etiquette.

Additional fees may apply if the replacement programme has a higher participation fee.

5. Substitution of Participants

Where appropriate, a registered participant may nominate another eligible person to attend in their place.

Substitutions:

* require prior written approval;
* must satisfy any applicable programme requirements; and
* must be requested before the programme commences.

This provision may not apply to personalised coaching, consultations or programmes designed specifically for an individual participant.

6. Programme Changes by Manners on Point

Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control may require changes to a programme.

Manners on Point School of Etiquette reserves the right to:

* change programme dates;
* change venues;
* adjust programme schedules;
* substitute facilitators where necessary; or
* cancel a programme where unavoidable.

Where a programme is cancelled by Manners on Point, registered participants will normally be offered one of the following:

* a transfer to another available programme;
* programme credit for future use; or
* a refund where appropriate.

7. Corporate and School Bookings

Corporate, institutional and school bookings may be subject to separate contractual terms agreed between the parties.

Where such agreements exist, those terms shall take precedence over this policy.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests arising from exceptional circumstances, including serious illness, bereavement or other unforeseen events, will be considered compassionately on a case-by-case basis.

Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.

9. Processing Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

* it will be processed using the original payment method where practicable;
* processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution; and
* any applicable administrative deductions will be communicated in advance.

10. Changes to This Policy

Manners on Point School of Etiquette may amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our programmes, operational requirements or applicable laws.
